GRAND CANYON... 2 weeks ago

Sarah has to be one of the fastest drivers I know... She was cruising at 115mph! I was like DAMNNN...

Ide was like "What are you trying to do Sarah, go BACK TO THE FUTURE?!! hahahaha... I thought my foot was heavy...

And our adventure begins at 8am...

Ide screams... PUSH!!!... I replied.. PUSH? I thought we were suppose to be PULLING...

I'm sorry for making fun of your trekking poles Sarah, I wouldn't have made it without them.  After twisting my left knee after the first hour, I had to favor my right leg which gave out the last 1.5 miles, which we had to hike or in my case had to crutch and use all upper body in the dark.  Thank goodness for the flashlights and headlamps.  You can tell I wasn't as thrilled, at this time, we were worried that we weren't gonna get out of the canyon by sundown. 

If I did this every month, I'd be bigger than my lifting partner Carrot Top, actually spotter... He has the largest shoulders I've seen.  This was an old pic.  He has to be on roids... He's ridiculous now...

But yeah... back to more important matters...

We finished at 8pm in the dark, Thanks Sarah for forcing us to do it in one day, while they specifically said not to. 

The following morning... looking at what we just conquered... and while Ide is conquering objections from a girl and getting her number to our left...

Sadly there was a 4 year old that fell 400-500 feet off the overlook 2 days after we were there... Apparently 1-3 people die here every year...

Welcome to Guppy's Tea House.  They had great food not to mention this Brick Toast which has a huge layer of butter baked on top of it and drizzled with caramel and chocolate.  This was awesome with a side of ice cream, or you can get their fruit on shaved ice.  SOOO good...

Mintra, Christy, and Jessie stole most of the Brick... I guess our Qi can't compare... hahahaha... you guys are dorks...

Vegas has been a very interesting, surprising place.  Work has been tough... maybe cause of working 14-16 hour days to be able to go to Cali every weekend.  People here are wanna be gangstas... hahaha... Sadly, in the news there were these 12 year old kids pushing over/beating up the elderly for money in the casinos.  What is the world coming to.  Dude.. please beat your kids.. even Russell Peters agree with me.

I was driving home today, and I saw this 70+ year old lady struggling dragging a box from her car to her apartment.  There were 6 people in the area, that were just standing and watching.  I couldn't believe my eyes.  When have people become so heartless, and have people become scared of helping others, because of made up stories and lawsuits occurring.  Anyway, I went over and lifted up the 20lb box, for the young lady.  We don't have to be standing in a hospital room or wear a red cape to be a hero to others in our every day lives.
